Principles of math are very important concepts to understand. Children are often exposed to math for the first time in child care centers and kindergarten. Teachers often use basic items that are familiar to children to introduce these math principles. Learning math in kindergarten will allow a student to perform basic addition and subtraction, understand the uses of clocks and read calendars.
